Fellowship * Cooperation * Encouragement

The Church Health Team is available to assist churches and associations in Christian education, church growth, pastoral ministry, music and worship and several other areas of church life.  The team assists Iowa Baptists by listening, assessing, resourcing and encouaging church leaders in their ministries.

Mission Statement

The Church Health Team will assist Iowans to discover and become  involved with God and His work by providing the best possible training and resources to equip Christ-centered disciples.

Vision Statement

Healthy churches are exciting places where God’s people are happy when they come together to have fellowship, to study God’s Word, to do ministry, to do evangelism with the lost and to worship the Lord in His holiness.

Scripture

We take our biblical mandate from Ephesians 4:12 (HCSB): "For the training of the saints in the work of ministry to build up the Body of Christ."

Prayer Emphasis for 2011

We pray that we may be able to help your church develop better health in order to grow larger and become deeper in spiritual strength.  In this year of GPS (God's Plan for Sharing) emphasis, we hope to stand alongside the churches as a resource to help the churches reach out to and assimilate new believers into the Body of Christ.

Please call on us for your training and resource needs. We work closely with LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention and we are able to introduce you to many services, resources and ideas that will help you reach people for Christ in your part of Iowa.

The staff and volunteers who work with us are well-trained and eager to help you. If what you first see or hear does not fit your setting, talk to us and we will work with you to customize an approach that works in your setting.
